Terms of Service

By creating an account or playing MazeDuel, you agree to these Terms. MazeDuel is a strategy game provided as-is for entertainment.

You must play your own games. The following are prohibited and may result in rating resets, suspension, or a permanent ban:

• Using bots, scripts, or external engines to choose your moves.
• Colluding to manipulate ratings (sandbagging, win-trading, boosting).
• Intentionally stalling or abusing the clock to frustrate opponents.
• Exploiting bugs instead of reporting them.
• Operating multiple accounts to inflate your record.

In-game chat and usernames must not contain harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, or spam. Messages and usernames are filtered automatically, and you may report any player you have played against. Repeated or severe violations may lead to chat restrictions or a ban.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Usernames that impersonate others or violate the conduct rules may be changed or removed.

Ranked games affect your ELO rating; casual games do not. We may adjust ratings or the rating system to preserve competitive integrity.

Reports are reviewed by moderators. Filing knowingly false reports is itself a violation. Enforcement decisions are made at our discretion.
